Privacy notice

Who we are

Everett Pharmacy Ltd ("Everett", "we") runs this website and the pharmacy in Moshie Zongo, Kumasi, Ghana. Contact: everettpharmacygh@gmail.com, 024 504 7517 / 024 870 7926.

What we collect

• Inquiry forms: your name, phone number, optional email, preferred contact method and what you ask about (for example a medicine or product name, or your business requirements).
• Consent records: which consent you gave, when, and which version of this notice was shown.
• Campaign source: if you arrived from a marketing link, the campaign name and the website that referred you. Never your browsing history.
• Everett Assistant: the messages you type are processed to produce replies. We do not store chat transcripts on our servers.
• Security data: a one-way hashed form of your IP address, used briefly to prevent abuse.

Health information

A medicine name can reveal something about your health, so we treat medicine inquiries as sensitive. Please do not include symptoms, diagnoses or medical history in forms or chat — a pharmacist will discuss anything needed directly with you.

Inquiry content is never sent to analytics or advertising services, and is kept out of our website's technical logs.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry, callback request, pickup request or wholesale enquiry (with your consent to be contacted).
• To keep a record of requests and follow-ups in our staff inbox and, once connected, our pharmacy management system.
• To send occasional business updates — only if you tick the separate, optional marketing box on the wholesale form.

Service providers

We use these providers to run the website. Owner to confirm the final list before launch:

• Website hosting (Vercel) and our database provider — store and serve the website and inquiry records.
• Cloudflare — domain registration and DNS for everettpharmacy.com.
• Anthropic — processes Everett Assistant messages when the AI assistant is switched on.
• Resend — sends staff alert emails that contain no inquiry details (only if configured).
• Google Analytics — counts visits and conversions, only if you allow analytics.
• Our separate pharmacy management platform — receives inquiry records once connected.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics is off unless you choose to allow it. When allowed, it records page views and events such as “phone link clicked” or “form submitted”, without what you asked about or your contact details.

Staff sign-in uses a strictly necessary security cookie. We do not use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Proposed (owner to confirm): inquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted, unless they become part of a customer or business record that the law requires us to keep longer.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by contacting everettpharmacygh@gmail.com. Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) applies to how we handle personal data; owner to confirm registration status with the Data Protection Commission.

Security

Inquiries are sent over HTTPS and stored in a database that only signed-in Everett staff can view. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please share only what is needed.
